**This is not a writing course! **Course is recommended for individuals who have some production experience. Live Variety Scripting Pt. 1 offers insight into the world of live variety television. During this workshop, participants will learn about the inner workings of the heart of any live televised production, SCRIPT! We'll explore what scripting in live variety television means and the various positions that make up this key department. Participants will explore the breakdown of a script and how it's vital to any live production. Specifically, we'll discuss live award shows and music specials. Topics Include: What is Live Variety?
